BLACK PANTS, SOLD

People have asked me why I paint women. First of all, I'm comfortable with women, having come from a family with 5 girls. My brother came last in line. And second, I love trying to capture the graceful, natural poses, when the subject is unaware (or looks like she's unaware) that she's being put to paper. Third, I have no idea why I'm compelled to draw the figure. It started when I was 18 in my first figure drawing class. I loved it. Still do.
