I'm three chapters into a most disturbing book, "Confessions of a Sociopath - A Life Spent Hiding in Plain Sight," by M.E. Thomas. If that sort of thing intrigues you, pick it up. So far it's alarming, mostly because I'm thinking I'm recognizing some people in my life. I'll have to keep reading..

I'm beginning to feel good. That may not seem significant, but it's quite a statement since I've been unable to say that for almost 3 years. I've been in a very dark place, thus, the silence in my blog. But with final divorce papers in my hand, I've relinquished all hope of repairing a broken marriage, and I'm determined to make the most of this new chapter in my life. You are you recognizing? Remember when you recognized me at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver? You said I looked the Same as I did in Jr. High (as we called it in those days). Then you said "you're even wearing the same clothes!" I was wearing a red T shirt and denim shorts.
ReplyDeleteI am excited for you to be in France this summer (However, I didn't know it was "old hat" for you)

Bon Voyage! Have fun.

I am excited that you get to spend some time in France, although I guess it's "old hat" for you by now. Robert and I were there for 3 weeks last summer. We spent 8 rainy days in Paris, going to every museum possible. Then we spent the rest of the trip in Provence and never walked into a museum again.
