Waiting for my luggage.

Sitting here alone in the yard, waiting for an AirFrance delivery. Kippy and her new assistant Honey have gone to run errands; Jerome is in Paris. I have the house to myself. I am wearing yesterday's clothes, hoping today's arrive shortly. Still trying to recover from the voyage. My view as I wait...the quiet patio, which by Sunday will be a beehive of activity, with old friends and new, a table being set to perfection, fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden, an abundance of wine, an abundance of laughter. It will be virtually non-stop until departures for home in 2 weeks. I'd better enjoy this birdsong symphony while I can.
