Venice.

I've dreamed of being there for a long time. I had two fears: that it was not what I had hoped it would be, and that I would fall in the water climbing aboard a gondola.

It was more than I thought it would be. I did not fall in.

I fly home tomorrow morning. Good bye to Debra and Ivano, Stephanie, Sandy, Ellen, Kathy. Chris, Leta, Diane and Sophie. I hope it was as wonderful for you as it was for me.

  1. Now wait until you view all your photos, none of the buildings in Venice are actually straight up and down, I ended up making marks in the water and trimming them to 90 degrees based on that line....lol. Love Venice.

  3. Really enjoyed the news and photos of your amazing trip! I recognized one of the locations that John Singer Sargent painted (his watercolor series). I can imagine how inspired you must be!
